Through this conversation I learnt the importance of Broadening your horizon. Speaking to an determined young person who has broken through some of the common stereotypes in sport was very empowering and for someone who has only watched football my whole life I came to see that this also is not the only sport to seek a fun profession in.
How did you get into the NFL Community (UK)?
As someone who had always been quite athletic from a young age, the talent was already there but it was just channeling my focus after being recognised by my teachers as someone who could make it to the highest level.
What are some of the challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think breaking the barriers of people not thinking that I can do NFL corporate at such a young age alongside being an athlete, showing a work environment of older people that I should not be overlooked.
What is a tip that you’d give to people based on your life so far?
Taking up opportunities that you may not even be Familiar on but being willing to take risks and learn. Showing that you can add that much needed value to the team.
Would you say that your faith has helped you find that sense of fulfillment?
Yes, the biggest in terms of direction as through my faith I have seen the importance of working on Gods time and plan for my life than my own.
What does self realisation mean to you?
Staying in your own lane, everyones life journey and timing is different.
Yes I agree, everyones trajectory and life journey is different so instead of pulling people down, we should use someones victory as a means to encourage one another :)
